Students CARES Act Grant Funds Available To You

Lincoln University is pleased to report to you that our application for CARES Act 18004(a)(1) emergency relief grant funding for Title IV eligible undergraduate and graduate students was approved by the U.S. Department of Education. This grant can provide extra financial support to qualifying students during this very difficult pandemic for increases in your cost-of-attendance at Lincoln University.

If you are an undergraduate or graduate student that is eligible to complete a free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or already have a FAFSA on file, you can apply for CARES Act grant funding to cover unmet financial needs and unexpected expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

You can apply to receive a one-time lump sum of money. Although the money is funded by the federal government, individual universities are managing the application and approval process, and the distribution of funds. The funding is limited and will be awarded based on the level of student need.

CARES Act grant applications are processed on a rolling basis so you should apply as soon as possible if you attended classes at Lincoln after March 13, 2020, or are enrolled in the summer session. You are also eligible for a grant if you are enrolled in the Fall 2020 semester.

Please note that international students are not eligible for CARES Act funding, and you are required to complete a free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered eligible for the grant funding.
